Paula Maidens - Managing Director of Recruitment CoachPaula’s experience is unique! It combines Accounting, Banking, People Management, Training, Recruitment & Retention. With this background, she is the Managing Director and Founder of Recruitment Coach, a business created to provide small businesses with access to expert Recruitment & Retention advice, ideas and strategies, which typically would fall well outside the small business budget.

Paula began her career in Banking, working with Queensland businesses in both a Corporate Credit role and later in a Consultative Foreign Exchange role, specifically working with small and large businesses to identify their foreign exchange risks and offer advice and solutions. While working in the banking industry, she lectured at the Securities Institute of Australia and completed her qualification as a Chartered Accountant.

Changing industries in 2005, Paula found her passion in Recruitment! She began consulting to small and large businesses to source and select the right employees for their businesses and loved it! This industry knowledge and experience of the recruitment challenges businesses face gave her insight into the simple solutions that are effective yet often overlooked.  She combines this with her own hands-on experience as a Director of a major global recruitment agency where she successfully recruited, motivated and retained her own divisional staff, in arguably one of the most competitive industries for high performing employees.
